Strength in Motion Fitness Clients are real people with stressful jobs, family commitments and active social lives. They are like you.

They ask for our help because they are disillusioned by a billion pound diet industry that has set them up to fail every time. They've tried the latest quick-fix diet plan or wasted their hard earned money on rapid weight loss meal replacement shakes and fitness fads. They don't want to view food as a 'syn', eat kale 24/7 or spend their days counting calories... and that's fine, because neither do we!

At Strength in Motion Fitness we don't provide complicated diet plans or ask you to suddenly swap out all the foods you like for quinoa, nut butter and spinach. Years of experience have shown that positive change occurs when our clients make decisions based on what really works best for them, not when we tell them what we think 'should' work.

REALISTIC EXPECTATIONS

We all appreciate the ripped physique of Brad Pitt in Fight Club and the six-pack abs of Jessica Ennis-Hill. But if we are honest with ourselves rarely do we want to change our current lifestyle or behaviors to the extent required to be that lean. That doesn't mean we are weak or lazy - the biggest strength  is to be honest with oursleves.

During our first meeting, we always discuss your goals and current barriers to healthy eating. We ask you to be realistic about what behavior and lifestyle changes you are willing to make. In turn we are honest about the results you can expect. We don't make false promises or guarantee rapid weight loss or quick fix diet results.

ONE THING AT A TIME

If we change one nutrition habit or behaviour we have an 85% chance of success. If we change three our success rate drops to 10%. Small changes do add up over time - the biggest battle is often getting started with prioritising your nutrition changes, but we are here to help.
